Diversity Services – Youth

Our highly experienced team provides workshops for adults and youth to increase awareness and perspectives about diversity and inclusion.

In collaboration with NSIIP, the Diversity Services also focuses on Innovation by using various methods to engage the community about diversity and inclusion:

1. Storytelling: NSMS Diversity Services’ hosted its first storytelling event called Weaving Our Humanity on November 19, 2016, in partnership with NSIIP and Presentation House Theatre.

2. Public forum: Acting Against Racism: Strategies for Moving Forward. A first-time forum on the North Shore – a sold-out event – was held in September 2017 organized in partnership with NSIIP. The forum had keynote speakers and a panel discussion.
