Explore the history of Indigenous people, Truth and Reconciliation, and what this means for newcomers to Canada
Join us as we explore an introduction to land acknowledgements, ceremony and the importance of the connection to the land for Indigenous Nations.
It is an honour to learn about the Land We Live On with co-facilitators Jennifer Dehoney and Jennifer-Lee Koble. As experienced Indigenous health professionals and facilitators in creating space for reconciliation, relationships and equity for Indigenous people, they will help us build a better understanding of Land Acknowledgements and Connection to the Land in these sessions.
